Nier Binet (J30)
A dark, brownish-red apple. A sharp cider apple. Late season. The flesh is greenish and hard. Used to be considered a dual-purpose apple for cider and eating, but probably too sharp and hard for modern tastes. Good for slicing in Normandy apple tart. September to November
